See, my looking glass!

Could you call this an obligatory post?  Nah,that makes it sound like this is a chore.  Let's say it's our weekly post.  I want to keep at least a weekly update on our blog then share/post it a million times on facebook. Thanks to anyone who is readying/following/remembering this is here.

No new recordings just some pics.  We're moving along, starting to formulate our music and being more methodical about the process.  From the beginning the three of us were accustomed to just "jamming" it out and seeing what happened.  Now we're writing and recording in order to have starting point to build off of.  Very exciting stuff!

Here are some pictures we'll try to get some updated ones soon.  Also check out our Sound Cloud below!!!  Like, comment, and share please, thanks!!!
A few pieces of our arsenal.
Jamming at our local coffee shop, My Coffee Shop.  We had two friends helping us that night, Anton on the guitar and Stevie on the tambourine.
Hanging with Zach, one of my best friends doing something we love to do.

Joanna managing the equipment.

W&W Video Time!!!!!

So I've realized the lack of visual posts so here's a video of us playing at Open Mic at My Coffee Shop.  At the time Wind & Waves was nonexistent just two friends having fun.  We dedicated this song to Zach who was sick at the time, the third member of our group.

Here's an Avett Brothers cover.  This one is always fun!!!

We've modified the blog so that anyone can comment and you don't have to have an account.  So Like, Comment, Share, if you'd like,  More posts and more frequent posting are on their way so keep up with us thanks!!!!

Wind & Waves Jam Sessh

Yes!  So had a jam sessh today.  Played "The Bay" and "Leaving home," both of which are sounding promising so hopefully newer, fuller versions in the near future.  Here are some pics of our jam space, it's small but awesome and random.

Leaving Home Demo

So here's another.  I still don't know how I feel about this...  Lyrics below:

Well I packed up my things and followed My Love 'cross the sea
To be cliche, never to return

Never spoke a word
Never took advice from anyone
Never knew when I'd return

And the waves keep on bubbling
And the wind keeps on blowing
And the sun keeps on rising
Without Me

Now for many longs years I've been struggling in this place
Found stable ground, finally

Then the loss of a soul
Of a person I thought I couldn't stand
Never knew
What he'd mean to me

And the waves keeps on bubbling
And the wind keeps on blowing
And the sun keeps on rising
Without me

And the waves keep on crashing
And the wind keeps on blowing
And the moon keeps on shining
Without me

I'm not certain but I
Feel the pull of the tides
And it sends me home.
But I've made my home here
Have the ones I love here
This is now my home

But to smell the ocean air
Feel the trade winds through my hair
This deep deep longing's hard to bear

But to smell the ocean air
Feel the trade winds through my hair
This deep deep longing's hard to bear

And the waves keep on crashing
And the wind keeps on blowing
And the moon keeps on shining
Without me

And the waves keep on crashing
And the wind keeps on blowing
And the sun keeps on rising
Without me

Leaving Home Demo

The Bay Demo

Wow so another update within the same month I must be super cool or something.

Here's a brand new song still in the developing stage but I wanted to get it recorded and out in the open.  Listen, like, comment share if you are so inclined to.  Lyrics below.

As the rain falls
On the City today
As the gray clouds
Hang over the Bay

The sailors watch the ships come in

As their wakes, tremble, the water
Against the Shore
The Perfect Reflections
Shake and distort

And so it proves nothing stays the same

As the Bay shrinks away
Before our eyes
Our fates we have surrendered
Surrendered to the Tides

But our Hearts will never drift apart
